For an exported site
A Webflow export can give a team a static snapshot to inspect outside the Designer. HTMLShare can publish the exported files as a preview link; it does not host Webflow CMS data, forms, ecommerce, or a live Webflow project.
Static export contract
A static export is useful when the question is about the rendered site, not the editing environment behind it.
Check page hierarchy, navigation, copy, links, and the content that made it into the export.
Verify images, fonts, CSS, JavaScript, and relative paths survive the move from exported folder to ZIP preview.
Use the link to confirm what a client or production host should receive before you finalize the next deployment step.
Where the export helps
Give a client a browser link to review an exported marketing site without inviting them into the Webflow Designer.
Check the exported files on a neutral preview URL before choosing a long-term production host or domain.
Let a developer or content partner inspect the actual export and its asset paths before taking over the project.
Why this handoff works
Review the rendered export without requiring every stakeholder to have Webflow access or understand the Designer workspace.
A fresh preview can reveal missing assets, broken links, or assumptions that were hidden inside the authoring environment.
Use the export preview to review a static snapshot, then choose production hosting for the final public site and its connected features.
A three-step workflow
Use Webflow’s export workflow and keep the generated HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, and folders together.
Create a ZIP with the entry HTML and asset folders at the structure expected by the exported paths. Do not upload only one page when it needs shared assets.
Open the preview on desktop and mobile, check navigation and assets, and send the link with the remaining handoff questions.
Know the boundary
HTMLShare publishes browser-ready static output. Keep builds, source tools, private access, live data, and production operations in the systems built for them.
This is a static export workflow. HTMLShare does not connect to Webflow, sync changes, host the CMS, or run Designer features.
Webflow CMS, forms, ecommerce, memberships, and other connected features may need Webflow or another production service to function.
Move the approved export to a production setup when it needs a canonical domain, analytics, submissions, SEO operations, or ongoing edits.
Keep exploring
Before you publish
You can publish the exported static files as a preview. Upload the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts together in a ZIP when the export has multiple files.
No. HTMLShare publishes static files and does not provide Webflow CMS, form processing, ecommerce, memberships, or Designer synchronization.
Check that the complete export was zipped, the entry file and asset folders are at the right level, and the HTML uses the paths generated by the export.
Ready for the next review
Create a noindex preview link for the static HTML or ZIP project, then move approved work to production when it is ready.
