How to publish HTML previews from Codex, Claude, and Cursor
Codex, Claude, and Cursor each make it easier to generate interface ideas, landing pages, dashboards, and product demos. The sharing workflow should be just as direct: export the static output, publish a preview link, and send reviewers a URL.
Codex: publish the artifact when it is reviewable
Codex is strongest when it can work inside a real project, inspect files, and make scoped changes. Once it has produced a static HTML page or a buildable static output, publish the reviewable version instead of describing it in chat. A browser link gives stakeholders the real interaction surface.
For single-file prototypes, upload the HTML directly. For multi-file static sites, publish the ZIP or built output so CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts stay together.
Claude: move artifacts out of the chat window
Claude Artifacts are great for rapid iteration, but the artifact pane is not always the right place for external review. Clients and teammates often need a clean link that opens in their own browser without the AI conversation around it.
After the artifact reaches a stable review point, export the HTML and publish it as a preview. Keep using Claude for iteration, but let the preview link handle the handoff.
Cursor: share the static result, not the editor state
Cursor can help create a richer project with multiple files. Reviewers, however, should not need your editor, repository, branch, package manager, or local server. Build or collect the static output, then publish that exact version for review.
This habit also makes feedback clearer. Instead of discussing what might happen after the app is run locally, everyone sees the same hosted static preview.
A repeatable AI HTML preview loop
The loop is simple: generate, inspect locally, publish a preview link, collect feedback, revise, and republish. Each preview link becomes a checkpoint in the evolution of the prototype.
When the page is approved, move it to the right long-term home. That might be Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages, Cloudflare, OpenAI Sites, or an internal platform. HTMLShare is the fast review layer before that decision.
- Use Codex, Claude, or Cursor for generation and revision.
- Use HTMLShare for the browser preview link.
- Use production hosting after the prototype is approved.
Publish your next AI prototype as a preview link
HTMLShare turns AI-generated HTML files and static ZIP projects into browser preview links for product reviews, client feedback, QA checks, and vibe coding handoffs.
